Happy Birthday MaryJo

Ed Engoron, Co-Founder of Choclatique

MaryJo is an important member of the Choclatique family. She is the chocolate production manager and assists in the development of new products. MaryJo came to work with us 7 years ago after graduating from Los Angeles Trade Tech Culinary. She worked at one of Los Angeles’s highest sales volume bakeries and now devotes her career to making great chocolate just for us. MaryJo travels about two half hours each day to come to work in our West Los Angeles Chocolate Studio.

Birthdays are important at Choclatique and we try to always accommodate each co-workers taste for their favorite cakes. MaryJo has a love for unicorns, so this year’s theme for “Princess Marie” was this beautiful unicorn cake which really put a smile on her face. When MaryJo is not obsessing over unicorns she is committed to a small group of other themes, Hello Kitty and anything Disney are on the top of her list. MaryJo has an annual pass to the Magic Kingdom where she can be found most weekends.
